We were pleased to see that Anthony Seldon, Master of Wellington College, recognises the work of the Relationships Foundation in his new book, Trust.
Dr Seldon writes: ‘The Relationships Foundation in Cambridge is a leading body studying relationships within families and institutions. Its findings are very clear. For optimum communication, participants should be face to face. Trust is cumulative in relationships, and grows with each successive encounter, so continuity of relationships is all-important. We need background knowledge and understanding of whom we are communicating with to maximise benefits. All these three factors speak of the importance for families to be stable, to be loving and accepting, and to spend time with each other.’
